Found buried in an old warehouse in rural southeast Georgia, this portrait is amazing. The subject, style and original frame dates it probably around the 1940's. A very sensitive charcoal pastel and watercolor rendering of an interesting and lovely woman. Her expression is wonderful. A great example of southern vernacular art. Original frame was damaged, has been freshly matted and framed.
Love this vintage leather and chrome sling chair...instant chic!
